So I bent an axle on my Base 99' Lude. What should be routinely change out with that axle? I mean like tie rods and the like. Thanks...

Axle and Axle nut are all that you are required to change. Do a check of all your normal wear items (ball joint and brake pads are the big ticket things to check). Also check the axle seal on the transmission. It's like a $4 part at honda if it's leaking or needs attention.

if you bent an axle you definately have more serious problems.  Its nearly impossible to bend those things without control arm or subframe damage.  I would have someone look at it for you

Me and a buddy looked at it, and every thing looked ok except for the axle. So I should pick up the Suspension assembly on that side as well? I don't have anyway to transport it at the moment. My Lude and I side swiped something and I fought the thing all the way home. It's been sitting for a while.

If you side swiped something, like a curb you most likely have bent suspension components. If your axle is "bent", something got fucked up.

You might have trouble getting the axle out.  A hit hard enough to bend an axle might damage the transmission also.

Just check it over real good.  You might have trouble getting the inner joint out of transmission.  Replace the axle and then get an alignment.  If the suspension is damaged it will show up on the alignment.

Right on. Thanks. My spirit is lifted now, lol. I'm hoping most of the damage is cosmetic.
