Running 10psi, horepower unknown need to get it dyno'd. Will throw in an extra block that I had intended on building up but never got around to it. There are only two small dents on this car one on the passenger door and one on the trunk. I do not know what to ask for this car I have been talking with a few people and we were thinking about asking 12,000 and I can easily be talked down some. What do you guys think. Pics will be up soon and I'm sure I'm missing something but will update in time.

RE: Testing Waters: Boosted 98 Lude

AMorgan (5/12/2008)
Hey, come on guys, I can't be right all the time. I won't even try and sell it to someone else. Hell you can have it now and pay me back later. Like $50 bucks or something...not much. Rather see it put to good use and more importantly out of my moms house. In that, the entire interior is at my moms house in Lancaster.... It would have to be picked up and or you pull your interior out, throw away, and then drive down and do the swap right there. I'll help, just let me know when.

Anyways, couldn't find my title anywhere. So that puts me going and getting the new car back till Tuesday! I would love to sell this thing as a whole, quickly. But I understand that I may get more cash from parting it. Anyways, this car has been my baby since 2001. It was a red automatic SI for most of it's life. It is now a blue manual jdm vtec.

I have always taken great care of this car. Oil changes, maintenance, everything. Truly I have no modded this car that much. The engine of course (h23 was perfectly fine when I did the swap btw), header, exhaust, some suspension. But there is not a LOT of aftermarket mods.

The downside is the exterior. I painted this car myself, with help (demitrix, justinwebb), and it came out DECENTLY. Things happened, I've been hit lightly several times since. And the rust has come back.

Anyways, this car would be PERFECT for someone who can 1. weld or 2. paint or someone who has good connections for those things. Because other then the rust/paint, a rip in the leather on one seat, this car is about perfect.

Anyways, here is what I wrote up. Write me if you are interested in it as a whole, or for parts. I'd like to hear what people want.

I have a price in my head, not near what it's worth to me, but I would rather just entertain offers. You can get my on AIM @ oldboymd, email @ maharajamd@gmail.com, or just PM me here. Please do not throw out offers as a reply. But if you have a question that would be beneficial for everyone to know, go ahead and ask it as a reply.

And although I'd like it gone fast, I'm in no rush. Ok, here's the list.

1993 Honda Prelude SI with JDM Swap

General
- JDM H22a with roughly 65k miles
- Chassis has 130k miles

Mods

Engine:
- CAI (Ebay with K&N filter)
- Header (Edge Racing)
- Exhaust (Custom Stainless to a Magnaflow Muffler)
- Exedy Stage 1 Clutch (4k miles ago)
- JDM P13
- New NGK Wires (<1k miles)
- Koyo Radiator
- Enery Suspension Engine Mount Inserts

Suspension:
- KYB GR-2 Shocks
- Ground Control Coil-Overs
- Enkei RSF-2s (16", painted black)
- Kumho SPTs (205/40/16, maybe 6k miles, camber wear present)
- Camber Kit on the rear.

Exterior:
- Repainted Super Marine Blue
- Accord Front Lip
- Moonroof Visor
- Slightly Modded Tail Lights (Brand new bulbs last summer)
- JDM Black Headlights (Brand new Silverstars, sanded, buffed)
- JDM Amber Corner Lights (Recleared, sanded, buffed)
- 5th Gen Glass Sunroof Conversion
- Repainted Nostrils

Interior:
- EL Gauge Conversion
- Complete Leather Interior Swap
- VTEC Rear Speaker
- '96 Tweeter Covers
- Legend Shift Knob

Audio & Electronics
- Carputer (Details Below)
- AMP and Speakers (Details Below)

Maintenance (Last summer, have receipts)
- New Plugs, Wires (NGK), Cap, Rotor
- New Fuel Filter
- New Timing Belt, Water Pump, Accessory Belts
- Manual Tensioner Conversion
- Cleaned IACV, FITV, EGR
- New F.R. Upper Control Arm
- New F.R. Axel
- Aligned not 500 miles ago
- Replaced every seal/gasket imaginable
- Rebuilt transmission (Fixed the 5th gear / idler gear issue common in preludes)
- Fresh MTF
- Oil changed every 3k or less with Mobil1 5W-30 Fully Synthetic (I was probably changing this every 2 for 15 months or more)
- New OEM blank rotors and brake pads.

Parts Not Installed
- USDM Fog lights (Housing and switch. Relay is needed)
- Accord Rear Lip
- Accord Side Skirts
- Complete Black Fabric Interior (Mint)
- '92 Long Console
- '96 JDM Center Console with Leather Top (Cup holder is broke. JDM so eBrake is on the passenger side. Ebrake Included)
- Front Camber Kit
- Test Pipe
- Clifford RS III Alarm System (already wired, module is not installed atm)
- USDM Headlights
- New Trunk Deck (Red, incase of repaint for shaving issue)
- H23 Automatic Transmission
- Accord 16" Rims (2 Brand New all-season Tires on front, 2 Seasoned all-season on rear)
- Automatic SI Gauge, Manual SI Gauge

The Good
- This car is pretty much mechanically sound. It pulls strong, idles well, VTEC is hard and loud.
- I repainted 2 years ago. Went from Milano Red to Super Marine Blue. Used the best Dupont paint availave. Primer, base, clear.
- Both Heat and AC work great.
- The door fabric, speaker covers, misc has been repainted to stock color and gloss. Looks mint.
- Really the interior is perfect. Buy new carpet ($100) and it would look brand new.

The Bad
- The rust and the paint. This car was originally Milano Red. Two summers ago when the rust became bad I decided to fix it and repaint it myself. I did not take it to have it welded, I cut out till clean metal was visiable, then cleaned, sealed, and bondoed over. This was my first auto paint job. I'd say it came out at best a C job. In my mind all it really needs is a professional buffing.
- I have been hit three times since. One a car rear ended me while going less then 5 mph. All it left was two screw marks from their license plate. The same person also backed into me on the side. There is a fairly decent sized dent on the drivers door (can be pulled out I'm sure). I was also scraped on the rear right bumper. No dents or cracks, just paint is screwed up.
- When I painted I tried to shave the trunk and the antenna. Both have cracked.
- When cutting the clearcoat while painting I burned through in several areas, basically going thru the clear to blue and or primer.
- The leather is flawless EXCEPT for the drivers seat. It is ripped on the butt area, and the side holder things. Both are ripped on 1 section of leather, should be easy for an interior reupholster to fix.

Carputer & Entertainment Details
PC:
- Gateway Laptop ( 1.8 Athlon, 2 GIG MEM, 80 GIG HDD )
- Creative SB Live 5.1 External USB Soundcard

Screen:
- Lilliput 7” VGA Touchscreen 629GL-70NP
- Fabricated into double-din.

Audio:
- 4 Pioneer 6-1/2" 4-Way Car Speakers [280 watts peak power (50 watts RMS)]
- 2 Infinity 3-1/2" 2-Way Car Speakers [75 watts peak power (25 watts RMS)]
- Alpine V-Power 75W MOSFET 4 Chan. Amp with Adj. Crossover [MRP-F250]
- Rockford Fosgate 4-Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit with Interconnect
- Extra 50’ Rockford Fosgate 16 Gauge Speaker Wire
- 2 Gold Plated Mini to RCA Y Cables

PSU:
- Carnetix CNX-P1900 Ver. 2.2 Dual Output 140 Watt 12V DC-DC Regulator
- Carnetix CNX-P5V 15 Watt +5V Regulator

Software:
- Windows XP Professional
- Frontend - Centrafuse

I will be posting up pictures over the weekend. I just figured I would get this ball rolling now. Almost ALL of the maintenance items was done last summer. I still have receipts.

And I am sure I will think of more junk as time goes on.

Thanks,
Chad

RE: TW - '93 SI with JDM H22

Maharajamd (4/19/2008)
Well guys, this is sold.
